Copy and paste for FFXI so I don't have to try and use the auto-translator and look like a tard when I form sentences that make sense in english, but say something like "Less bathroom breaks" when it says "Limit Break" on my side, will also help me in parties... getting in and out. Kanji plz ^^ {Can I have it?}

I'm trying to self teach myself, but alas, it just isn't working for shit, since NO ONE I know speaks it, reads it, etc, around me x.x

I'm just going to have to wait until I go to college and take a freaking class on it for the next 100 years

If I can think of other situations of actually needing more, I'll repost, cause um, it sucks, sitting in a party with 5/6 japanese players and me all alone bored in the back.... *CRY*

I played FFXI back in the day... before I knew any Japanese... and the only thing you really gotta worry about when you edit kanji macros in is the fact that a lot of the time, you're going to get a string of kanji back as a response.

Especially when you ask, in perfect Japanese, "What's the party setup?"

And less so when you make comments on "I'm looking for my replacement"/"I found my replacement."

With autotranslater, sometimes you can clarify.. but.. usually if you can clarify with AT, it's easier to just use AT from the beginning so you don't give them the wrong idea about your fluency and confuse the hell out of them^^;

And the translator sucks \./ I've used it for over 2 years now, and find it sucks.

Lol, I guess more my point was... you're going to ask "what's the party setup", then they're going to tell you. THEN you're going to say "I can't read Japanese" (in perfect kanji, again), then they're going to hate you :D EDIT: Because they CAN'T tell you! ><

It's more the deep loud voice that I use. In all the movies the samurai just use really informal masculine Japanese, with some archaic words.
And I say I'd probably offend them because it's not polite to talk that way w/ people you just meet... That and I'm not really good at it anyway. Heh.
