How about instead you borrow $10 off your dad, get some poker cards and play a few games of Tex until you have enough money then hand that money over to your dad (with a receipt, make him give you a receipt, parents are quick to just keep the money or instead to use it for something else or even hand it back when it comes to purchasing something they are questionable about for their child) and tell him to purchase it on his VISA, Master, Discover, or American Express card.
