classic gamers rejoice, because game tap (http://www.gametap.com/home/Home) will fulfill your classic gaming need. basicly its like emulation accept its LEGAL!!! and they will be adding every game from every game system ever made over time but at the moment they don't have much to offer because they have just launched 2 weeks ago. so come everyone and play the classics some of you have forgoten and play to your hearts content. and in case your wondering the games ARE the full versions!!!

See the problem with this is a pay-to-play plan. And i don't want to pay to play games i already have just to play them on the computer.

The idea of the emulator is flawed. One the one hand, it allows the person who owns a copy of the came to make a backup copy to play if something goes wrong with the original. However, to download games you do not own just to play them is the illegal part of it.
So on the one hand Emulation is legal, on the other, it breaks copyright laws.

I said it was *LIKE* emulation, not real emulation because this is being done by all the game companies out there. and the game library (once they get a lot more put on there) will start from the first games ever made to curent gen games. also, yes you do have to pay to use the service itself but you get unlimited game play and they don't charge you per game either just pay the monthly subscription and you play to you hearts content. :D
