Has anyone here skydived before, or are thinking of trying sometime? I did my first tandem skydive last Saturday and it was one of the most amazing things ever. Granted I don't really have a fear of heights or falling, I was reading to throw myself off the plane, so I know it's not for everyone. But for me, it was absolutely thrilling and fulfilling.

The interesting thing is that I'm really chicken of big rollercoasters with drops. I can do things that spin and do corkscrews, but something with a huge drop I'm deathly afraid of. But skydiving is really different. You don't get that heart dropping feeling unless you purposely twirl your chute in one direction really fast.

But for anyone that's been thinking of doing this, they really should! It's really amazing if you have the money for it. :)

I would definitely LOVE to go skydiving, the only issue for me is money. I'm not afraid of falling or heights or anything like that. Actually, I'm less afraid of death than is healthy, I think. I don't really care either way. And adrenaline is awesome =D

My school has a skydiving club in which for about $150, you get a few lessons, and 5ish jumps, and you can buy more at $30/each. I didn't look too hard at it, since I can't currently afford it and I'm not going to be here next semester anyway, but I DEFINITELY wanna do it someday.

Friend's niece died doing this and she was an expert with many jumps. So no.

I did tandem skydiving a while back. I agree with every word you said! My instructor made us do a back flip of the plane.. it was insane...! Most exhilarating experience ever.

I guess i haven't said much but if you can afford it... do it.. you deserve to experience it.

Despite what could happen, one day I definetly want to go... just something to try in life, I guess. Even though nobody wants to go with me.. :(

My sister is jump certified, and does jumps every month.

I want to go too, but I haven't had the chance yet. :gloomy:

Was supposed to do it this semester, but money-issues arose. So, me and the people I had planned to go with are going to do it next semester. My university has a program we can do it through for a really good price :D
