We'll be in Tokyo night 1 - then Fukuoka and Kumamoto for a week - and then two days back in Tokyo.

Oh! I could be around (in Tokyo!).
Will be in Tokyo until the 3rd. Then im off to Yokohama to start my course.

I would love to see a chart of average flight prices throughout the year for each country. It would be interesting for sure.
I know when I was looking @ a ticket, AZ to MN, it was like... $30-$40 cheaper on 9/11. Don't know because that was
'cuz it's 9/11, or cuz it's the middle of the month vs. the ends, or 'cuz it was a Wednesday (is it?) or who knows.
Personally... I think think there could be a million reasons. I'd have to see more proofs. : ) (I wrote the s in proofs on purpose. Sorry smart College Grad people - not this time).
