[Pierrot le Fou]

I am Batman!
My greatest foe is the mental block,
In the mind of my creators.

I walk around,
Paper thin,
In comic books worldwide.
But when the pen,
Draws a villain,
I do my best to win.
But because,
I am no wuss,
Like that dorky Superman,
I always win.

But for all you naysayers,
Some simple words of advice,
A mask,
A cape,
A buff physique,
And a pair of tights,
Doesn’t make me more of a hero,
Than any normal guy.

What makes me special,
Is the role I hold,
In this comic book.
The mask,
The face,
The buff physique,
Especially the tights,
Are merely drawn,
Upon my idea,
And to be pleasing to the eye.

So when you see me flying high,
Above the Gotham streets,
Think that maybe it’s not bad,
To be in a comic like me.

You will envy,
You will see,
I’m as lucky as luck can bring.
An idea into perfection,
Aren’t I swell?
Do cartoon characters
Go to a cartoon Hell?

Wow, thats really cool, but for some reason when I read the line this popped into my head:

or did you just avoid it so it wouldn't be too common?

I wrote it last decade. God only knows what I was thinking. That was before a majority of my drug and alcohol use. Though not all of it.

But I was confused as to how to read it. Was it suppose to ryhme and follow some sort of tempo? I was reading and I'm pretty sure there was but I never caught onto it :o.

Nope, not at all. No rhyming scheme, no tempo you're supposed to follow... Were I to read it, I'd read it semi-normally. It ain't that complex.
