Since we had something similiar in the old board, I will start it off. Anyone can post screenshots of their desktop. Also this thread can be used if you did changes or want to show off a new theme. Enjoy the thread :D

Well just sign up an account from photobucket and just up them. Usually print screen will do the job and then you dump it into photoshop or GIMP to edit the picture and send a smaller version of it.

Yes, the program is called Object Dock, it basically has the Mac OS style for the bar instead of the Start Menu from Windows.

Uhh you can create a new account, all you do is log out his and log on yours. Unless he owns the computer you are sitting on.

Last I remember only place would be the recommended link from Object Dock's website. I scrounged all of the docks I used from there.

Well as Jay says, just hit the print screen on your keyboard, so that we can see your desktop.

Open Photoshop CS and make a new blank sheet. I suggest making it based on the resolution of your desktop e.g. 640x480, 800x600, 1024x768 then you just paste (CTRL + V) and then export or save using photoshop and save it as a JPG file, give it a quality of about 80 - 85%. Then you upload the image to imageshack.

Very nice shots, I just hope Vista's stability would be better and they use that new interface and I do really do hope they do not copy a Mac. Or maybe they should think of a new desktop model.

Mine isn't all that good. I tend to clutter my desktop. If I clean it up, it would be cluttered within 45 minutes.

WinFS isn't going to be completed before Vista, and has been dropped as a shipping feature, along with Monad and a couple other features.

Also, Vista / AeroGlass / LDDM is going to start passing all OpenGL calls through DirectX and lock the version at 1.4 vanilla - I'm not sure about ICD's, but that's not a good thing.

Heh, well mine used to be one I made of just random pic off of some sites. Like one was "Angel Kanti" from FLCL where he's floatinig, like the person's post above mine (I think of above mine) but it's just Kanti, than there was 3 Vash ones, and Bob Marley. It was supposed to be mix between Anime/Music, but it was mostly Anime haha. Now it's a Orange background and it's a pic of Ichigo from Bleach. It's really cool coloring.

I would post mine, but as I know from the Bungie forums, it is effectively too big for any hosting service. And I don't really feel like busting out my FTP for one picture of my desktop. And speaking of. This is the only time, I have ever seen image tags turn the URLs into hotlinks. What's the problem with images in signatures?
