Anybody else watching this kick ass detective show? I watched the first season from the beginning and was definitely hooked. The season 2 premiere tonight was excellent. The whole cast is good, but Kristen Bell especially is great as Veronica. I'm watching Veronica Mars and taping Lost each week.

I watched it when it came on CBS for awhile, I liked it. I don't get UPN though so I can't watch it :( Sucks. :(

I haven't seen it, but I've heard good things, so that might end up in my TV schedule now, we'll see. (currently, I only really watch Desperate Housewives and ER, and an occasional football game).

She was on 1 or 2 episodes at the beginning of season 1, but she hasn't been on since.

why do you refuse to watch?

I don't even remember, it was either because it was on the UPN or some ads for it pissed me off.

Watched season 1 on DVD. Good show, though not so much re-watch value. Has a tendency to have every character to be ridiculously clever. Watching the whole season in 1 go makes VM and her dad irritating from the amount of snark they do in every ep.

It's been in reruns for a few weeks, but I think there will be 1 or 2 new episodes this month. It has still been very good this year.

God, I hate that show. (Sorry. I'm sure you hate TV shows I love, though!)

Didn't she have consensual sex with her brother, then after she found out he was her brother cried rape? Lame.

No, both of them got drugged with a ro-hypnol style drug. She didn't remember it was consensual in the morning, and assumed rape. He remembered, but felt horrible because he knew/thought she might have been his sister. Anyway, it turns out they weren't related after all. She then felt relieved that she wasn't raped, and that he wasn't her brother.

Nothing like a little incest to make a show less appealing.

Except when the show revolves around a highly dysfunctional family in Orange County, that is.

Bump, because I love this show.
Unfortunately I only started watching near the tail end of season 2. UPN's general crappiness and the woefully ineffective ad campaigns they used left me in the dark about its awesomeness for a while.

Last week's episode sort of sucked, though. Very ABC's Afterschool Special, with the underage drinking 'won't someone think of the children?!' plot. But Paul Rudd being on it last night was awesome :watson:
