I want to have a look at some GLAY guitar tabs/music sheets because Hisashi is a friggin guitar genius and I want to be like him.
Any cool websites you guys know of? Or any books I can import from Yesasia.com or something? I'd even pay someone in Japan to buy one for me.
Thanks

I've been looking for various guitar books for a while, and they're very hard to find, even in Japan (well, certain ones are easy, but the good ones are hard). If you find any, let me know =\
I know there's a bookstore in Ikebukuro that has a ton, but I forgot exactly where it is :(

aww that makes me sad :( I see a bunch of glay books on yesasia but with no descriptions and Japanese titles I can't for the life of me figure out what is what. Maybe someone could have a browse and tell me if there is any music sheet book on there?
Also is it common to use your thumb to press down on the top string of a guitar? Seems like some Japanese players do this and wondered if it was a common technique (I'm a beginner player.)

Hell, Eric Clapton does it. That's good enough for me :)

Appreciate the offer but I hate to impose on people like that.
Plus I really REALLY want a collection of alot of GLAY songs, preferably official tablature. If you guys find it on any japanese website or shop or something at least let me know if it exists or not! lol thanks.

Thanks renegade, they'll certainly come in handy!
Saw some nice books on Amazon.co.jp as henjin suggested but can't figure out if they deliver to non-Japan countries.
This one in particular:
GLAY songbook (http://www.amazon.co.jp/exec/obidos/ASIN/4285102455/qid=1128009613/sr=1-13/ref=sr_1_2_13/249-8380161-2875521)
Maybe someone in Japan could order it for me and I pay them via Paypal??

Japanese people aren't the only ones that hold the top ones down with their thumbs. how is that even special anyways? I don't know who you are calling a genius at guitar but I will listen to his music and see for myself. I personally think Mississippi John Hurt is the master when it comes to guitar playing (especially finger picking). He is amazing, my favorite, first time I heard him I went... I will upload a song later, I don't know if most people will appreciate his old time folk/blues music style. Hopefully you will, if you really like music you should like it.

Even though I'm not a fan of JRock, I would suggest buying them off of Amazon. Also, try Google Japan and only search for Japanese Pages. Well, that's if you can get your way around a purely Japanese website.
