And yes, that puppy had single fire, 3 round and full auto.
I so want one now :P Too bad I can't exactly take an $8,000 hit to the wallet at the moment :)
And sorry for the crappy pic, thats a screenshot from a video.

Nice.
I know that is a Heckler and Koch but I'm not exactly sure on the model. I want to say MP5 but I know I'm wrong.

No, you are correct. That is an MP5 submachine gun chambered in 9mm. Its rather fun when at the "go-fast" setting.

Really? I thought only Navy SEALS or any other special forces use MP5's.
I just thought that would be a civilian version. *Ponders* Or maybe you got it on the black mar.....

Nah, LoL. That's not mine, that belongs to this lady who brought it to the range. You can own automatic weapons if you wanna fork over the $$$ to the BATF for the tax stamp, and was made pre 1989. That's why they're so expensive, the makers sell em for $1000-$2000, but the scarcity drives up the price to almost 8k for civilians.

Only machine gun I've fired was an AK-47, lot of fun and amazing power. I would have guessed MP5 also, but simply based on Ghost Recon experience, hehe.

Not trying to be a smartass Thespis but a AK-47 doe's not classify under Machine gun. It is a assault rifle.

well, an assault rifle refers to the type of weapon, not the weapon's trigger functionality.
You can have a civilian AK-47 that is an assault rifle, that is semi-automatic - that is, only fires 1 round per pull of the trigger.
You can also have the fully functional ak-47, that fires more than 1 round per trigger pull, that is fully automatic - but it is also an assault rifle.

I was merely referring to a fully automatic firing capable weapon.

I'll stick with my TC Encore.
MP5's are nice, but I'd still have more fun with an old fashioned Thompson.

The term machine gun refers (in laymans terms) to an fully automatic weapon. The technical definition of a machine gun is a crew operated (or 1 man belt felt weapon, depending on how far you stretch the definition) automatic weapon.

Yeah I was refering to the technical.
I don't really like defining things by it's Laymens terms so when people say an Assault Rifle is a Machine gun I just have to correct them.
What's even worse is when people think a Sub-Machine gun is a Machine gun.

My friend was firing some sort of machine gun (i'm not fluent in the gun jargons, excuse me) but after they magazines fired on auto, it was practically bright red.
apparently you can cook an egg if you use it to stir.

Yeah, the barrels can get pretty hot when you fire it on full-auto. Thats why no one ever empties a clip in one go, you fire in short controlled bursts.
