My brother has been scaring me recently. He has told me that all these hurricanes that keep hitting the USA are man made. He says that there is technology that can manipulate hurricanes. He says that this is a war against China. I really don't want to believe him because this "manipulating hurricane" idea freaks me out. I don't like the idea of it. It's like humans are "playing god" or something. Now we can control the weather. And now China is sending level 5 hurricanes at us... I REALLY don't want to believe him. Hopefully my brother is just trying to scare me.

He also told me about the underground base at the Denver Colorado Airport. He gave me a really awesome website to research it on.

If you like living in ignorant bliss don't read this.

(My school blocks this link, by the way. It says "Your organization has chosen to limit viewing of this site (Anomalies-Unlimited (http://www.anomalies-unlimited.com)), due to the rating of its content (tasteless, mature humor)." Pretty sad, huh?)

The Denver Airport is really scary. Supposedly it is an unused concentration camp. It sure does sound like it to me. That or a humongous bomb shelter? You should read the whole article. In fact that whole website is awesome.

The idea of controlling weather is just absurd. As for that Denver airport thing, it is an interesting read, but I wouldn't put too much stock into it.

Hurricane conspiracies... har.

The only conspiracy is the manipulation of written history, and major human events caused by high priests of the Illuminati.

China doesn't need nor want to be at war with the US. The US is in fact one of the largest consumers of Chinese products. They also consume our exports - not as much, but enough to make a difference if we decided to go to war.

As it stands why would China bite the hand that feeds it?

Hurricane controlled by some force other than weather huh...

Time to break out the aluminum hat.

The EU became China's largest trading partner in 2004.

Talk about missing the point. China's economy will be hurt badly if the US stops all trading with her - regardless of whether or not we are the #1 largest trading partner. Besides, I said the US was one of the largest. Not THE largest.

Damn it I only just invented the weather control device...... I knew i should have asked for more then $50 and a packet of bubble gum for it. I intended for it to be used for noble purposes like growing crops in the desert.

I guess i should ask for more for my mind control device i am inventing.

a) If China had a category 5 hurricane making device, it'd be flexing its muscles a lot more, particularly in its sphere of the world. What's that? You have a problem with us taking over all of our neighbours? What are you going to do, send your fleet (which is your only way of projecting enough force into the region that might be problematic) after us?

b) Denver not entirely implausible, but so what? Even if there is some kind of massive underground complex, it'd be one of those 'worst case scenario' bunkers. And if it is the Illuminati, then let me be among those to throw my support behind our benevolent overlords (always pick the winning side).

Actually. Pure science fact. Project Cirrus in the late 1940s and early 1950s and Project Stormfury.
These were projects developed trying to guide hurricanes so they wouldn't hit the little diddums US. http://www.usatoday.com/weather/resources/askjack/wfaqhurm.htm

Yes, of course we can affect the weather. We just shouldn't, as the global scale of meteorology can't be tampered with. Look at CFCs in the ozone layer, CO2 in the atmosphere, everything is fucked up enough by the unintentional actions of civilisation. For those whom want to rebuild New Orleans. You are crazy. Risk management regulations in this country would never allow it. Sure. It may be home. But it's below sea level. Idiots.

Oh don't be silly. 1st of all it is DIA = Denver International Airport. And I live a wopping 8 minutes from it. It is a fairly new airport and there is no underground base below it. The old airport was closed down once this one was built. It was knocked down ground up, and now there lies a brand spankin new housing development - Stapleton <---the new Yuppie-ville, USA. We have an airforce right next to the airport and NORAD nearby...and Cheyenne Mountain (where the nuclear defense systems are located)... but I assure you, there is nothing but an underground Tram system beneath the airport that takes you from terminal to terminal.

I was bitching the other day, how come Japan, the most tech-phile society ever can't do anything about their shit summer? I mean come on, suits and ties while its 90 degrees and 100% humidty? Whatever. China doesnt need that kind of technology.

And I lived in Denver for 24 years and transited through DIA dozens of time. Can't say I ever noticed anything out of the ordinary. In fact it is one of the better airports I have been too. Clean, good layout, great views. No space aliens there!

That DIA webpage is total bullshit. I lived in Colorado nearly my whole life, and flew out of both Stapleton and DIA. Looks like a "Bash DIA" website to me. But you read it on the internet, so it must be true.

It's physically possible, but only through thorough study (and ultimate manipulation) of magnetic waves, to which the Russians have been known to attempt. Here's a link that has some info on it, though it's only the basic gist of what they can be applied to in nature.

http://www.terraresearch.net/articles/ZapSeismo1.html

And I think that weapon-wise, your brother was talking about this: http://www.freedomdomain.com/weathercontrol/scalarweapon01.html

It's interesting, I think.

uh yeah, whatever. I mean honestly, that looks more like an Omigod the Russians are coming warning. Which would be fine if it wasnt over 15 years too late! When they start throwing around blanket warnings and tons of technobabble I call BS.

People, people- if someone invented a weather controlling machine, wouldn't that person/group/nation claim some kind of superiority?

Just doing some more reading:

"There are acres of fenced-in areas which have barbed wire pointing into the area as if to keep things in, and small concrete stacks that resemble mini-cooling towers rise out of the acres of nowhere to apparently vent underground levels."

HAHA yeah. Its called the Tram. You know, the things that run you from terminal to terminal?

Well it IS a conspiracy website. Why would a conspiracy website want to bash the DIA? That's just silly. And you have to admit that some of the things it mentions does sound strange.

Rogue_7

But there are things mentioned on that website, like the strange feelings, and unnatural art blah de blah, its all just BS. So that doesnt exactly make one feel like they are telling the truth right off now does it? The problem is people can pull anything out of their ass, dress it up with some technobabble, and voila, people online belive them! You have no way to independently verify their facts, so of course it must be true.

I'm just mentioning a possibility akin to splitting atoms. Magnetic fields do exist, and it's only a matter of time until military makes weapons beyond the damn microwave. Anyways the main link in the original post is damn silly.

So who really did Kurt Cobain? Ahh wait. I don't care.

You mean, stuff about the art work? Please, thats the worst of it. Art is so universal, and can be interpreted in MANY different ways by MANY different people. This guy thinks that his interpretation of the artwork is correct, and seriously, what the hell does he know about this artwork?

When DIA first opened, it offered tours of the facility to elementary students. I was one of the lucky classes to go through this tour. They took us near the artwork and talked about it with us. They asked us about what we thought it meant. None of us walked away horrified or scared. I enjoyed it, even.

Oh, and the gargoyle was placed above the baggage claim for a reason. When DIA first opened, there was technical problems with the claim. Gargoyles were meant to protect (helllooo ever been to Europe?) and they put a Gargoyle and a suitcase in the baggage claim to protect it from more problems.

Now, if someone posted a website showing actual pictures, plans, and evidence of some "underground" tunnels and such, that might be more believable. MIGHT BE. And if that kind of stuff did get out, I'm sure the government would be right on it, and the website would probably be shut down. Bullshitting unnatural feelings and artwork is just...desperate.
