I find the reason why the woman in hahaman's pic looks so different is because of the different hair styles. Different styles will cover up for flaws on your face, and that's why the first pic will look smoking hot because her face is elongated/partially covered by the sides. As for the 2nd pic the only real flaw i can see is crooked brows and not a very even skin tone. even with minimal makeup she can look great if the hairstyle is good.
