American Capatilism.

I know, i started a thread on Capitalism awhile ago, but this time im looking for a description.

My teacher shoved me in the right direction for what i need to say in this speech and basically i need to know.

What is AMERICAN capitalism, basically because the Capitalism that emerged in the 1900's (Specifically until 1930) was supposed to be very different from the original idea of Capitalism etc.

Any ideas or actual knowledge on the subject?
